2010 Edinburgh Show- Caroline Mabey: Eat Your Friends

July 19th, 2010

My show will be at Just the Tonic at The Caves at 4.35pm every day from 5th-29th (not 17th). It’s about breakfast- don’t be afraid! And features brand new animation of Kip the Coffee Pot and a new character, Mr Skrangles (he’s a scrambled egg). And best of all, it’s part of the Five Pound Fringe, so all tickets are £5 or less!

2010 British Animation Awards

July 19th, 2010

And here’s another thing I did… I hosted the British Animation Awards Ceremony in April at the BFI, with Kip the Coffee Pot as my lovely assistant. It was fun! He was a lot bigger than usual on the huge screen at NFT1 and I got to meet some of my old heroes.

2009- Caroline Mabey’s Go Go Go Coffee Show!

I never put anything up here last year about last year’s Edinburgh Show. I got some lovely reviews:

“Fabulous off the wall lines… This show will endure in the memory long after you’ve forgotten every word from the big-name stand-ups.” – Steve Bennett, Chortle

“The slightly deranged offspring of a menage a trois between Vic Reeves, Harry Hill and Floella Benjamin” – Bruce Dessau, Evening Standard

Having forgotten I had a website for over a year, I thought I’d figure out how to update it… Let’s see what happens. Might as well put a link in, I suppose. That’s what you do on the web isn’t it? It turns out people have been buying tickets online for my Edinburgh show “Caroline Mabey:Eat Your Friends”, on at 4.35pm every day at Just the Tonic at The Caves, on Niddry St/ The Cowgate.
